Hey! Betcha didn't know I was artistic, too! Well, you'd be right in that ignorance... anyway, here's some nice little cartoons of the boys. Most will not make sense. They hardly do to me, and it's not fair that any of them should... but anyway! Divided into 4 sections for your easy perusal. Now, on with the slash pics, click click click... (I'm not continuing with that little improvised ditty, as we all know what word rhymes with click.)
Best Friends-
By Ade (as are all the other pictures from here on, unless otherwise
noted). I love this... based on some picture I saw a while back.
Non-slashy, sorta. Technicolour included!
The Boris Sandwich
- Heheh. Told you sandwiches are a running theme. Why
Boris left- "conflicting interests."
The Page of Ultimate Darkness
- My. Biproduct of too many caricature studies for ze
old comic book. Coming soon- an essay entitled "Why I Don't Like
Morrissey."
Supersi's Mental Powers-
Keeping in mind that "mental" has more than one meaning. This
is yet another comic book bit, this one based directly from my
"Man Inside His Mouth" story. I just thought it was cute.
Ambiguously Gay Duo...?-
Awwwwwwwww. Still more panels from the comic book I'm making.
It's not supposed to be slashy, but sometimes I just can't help myself.
Now This is What I call a 'Real Man'-
I told my mum that if she found me a guy who could drink beer like this,
she'd have her grandchildren. Now, of course, she doesn't want any.
Fickle, fickle.
See the Children
- But then, in honour of mothers... me being bored in math class and angry at my friends for
never understanding what I mean when I say "eat".
Runaway Simon!
- Ho dee ho ho ho. Johännah and I were reading slash one afternoon, and we
happened to stumble across a
rather... "amusing"... "Simon get-shot" story at Fanfiction.net...
anyway, I felt this was a necessary action. I'm rather
pleased with my crippled Simon, though Robert is a continual reminder
of why I should always start with pencil...
Perry Candy
- Perry is magic, man. The name of this implies something
a whole lot worse than the actual picture.
Robert, Robert Plant, and Robert's Plant
- Snort. Robert Plant scares me badly. Drawn based on an old request from
Ri, Lenny decided that he was going to be stupid and try to
draw on my picture without me noticing. Which I did, and
retaliated. Both versions can be seen here. You lucky dogs.
Return of the Robert
- Just in case you wanted pure Robert. The hardest part of this picture
was actually the plant.
Battle of the Egos-
This one makes me laugh... so... hard. It's not by me,
actually... my friend Simon doctered some size-change
worksheet we had to do in math class for our entertainment.
Scarf the Scarf-
Sigh. This one just about defies any reasonable explanation.
But I'll try. Right... have you ever seen the video for "Pictures of You"?
Well, I was making my friends watch it, and somehow we
decided that Simon eats the scarf he's wearing in it,
then devours Lol (resulting in that big animal carcass thing), and
then goes after Roger, who is saved when everyone starts
throwing snow at him. Um. This is a lot funnier if you were
there.
ATTACK OF THE SCARY VIOLIN MAN!!!-
These just keep getting worse and worse. Right, you
know the "Catch" video, and how horrid Lol looks playing
the violin? Well, that scared my friend Armand so much that she
went and wrote this scene where Lol comes after Simon and
Robert and they have to call the exterminator, who just happens
to be Twiggy Ramirez... ok, you know what? Never mind.
Staring at the Sky-
Aw. This one is much better. Sort of an illustration for
the story of the same name. I drew it while I was
supposed to be studying for my Biology final, hence the
notebook paper.
Doing the Unstuck-
Oh, now this is just... well, I'll give you the basics: Robert is made of
cellulose, based on a slip of the tongue when I was trying
to say "cellulite." Because of this, when Simon eats him,
he cannot digest Robert, but just passes him out, along with
the clothes he so desperately craves. Somehow, Robert
acquired wings. This is absolutely silly.
'96 Simon
- By Sue, because she's filthy and knows how to draw.
She drew this in about 5 minutes while Johännah and I watched
and drooled.
Seventeen Seconds
- Mmmm. I really like this one... 17 year old Rob and Si. Evil because I accidentally smeared charcoal all over it.
Foxy Roger!-
For those (cringe) Roger fans out there, I drew a foxy picture of him. Literally.
One More Time-
Reminiscent of the song, Robert's lips bother me in this.
Praying to the Gods-
Hehehehe. I have no shame. No shame at ALL, I tell ye... and
Technicolour to boot!
Again-
Because I just realized how perfectly the poem and the
picture go together.
Throwing Shapes-
Maybe it's because I don't live in England, or maybe it's
because I'm not a crackhead like Robert, but I never could figure
out what the phrase "all the shapes I throw" precisely meant. So,
in a sudden fit of German class inspiration, I drew this.
Cold-
I think I'm becoming obsessed with the 17 year old thing...
Odd...-
Hehehehe. Someday I'll clean this up and colour it in. For
now, enjoy the picture inspired by live photos and laziness.
Indescript-
Just that. Another 17 year old picture, only in this one Robert
looks seriously like a girl.
The Umbrella Man
- Mmm. Drawn in math class, coloured at home, this picture is the
biproduct of listening to The Glove's "Looking Glass Girl" and
The Tiger Lillies' "Flying Robert" in close sequence.
Expect a sequel.
Broken-
Oh, sad sad sad. Experimenting with a new way of drawing cartoons,
this picture made me want to cry. Which is rather strange, it
being a cartoon and whatnot.
A Strange Day-
Woop! Ade got bored and drew a mini-comic for everyone.
Thanksgiving-
Um, drawn for a Thanksgiving card for everybody. Armand and I are
convinced that Robert must eat via osmosis, as it is not humanly
possible to get THAT chunky THAT quick, Al Gore aside.
Symphony in E
- *NEW* The actual meaning of this picture is anyone's guess, as
all it says on the paper is 'senseless, possibly political cartoons; soda crackers..."
However, I CAN tell you what's going on in it- Mr. E (of EELS fame)
is meeting an EERIELY similar looking Elvis Costello while Robert
and Simon look on. Um....
Adonais-
Nee. Having listened to this song one too many times and finding
charcoal underneath the couch, Ade proceeds to be stupid. Twice, nontheless.
Concert
- Ha ha, I don't even remember drawing this one. Pretty damn good for computer.
Note the pretty lights and lack of faces on the boys.
Cry Cry Cry
- Aw. A little part of a really horrid picture I made. As for the
fact none of my computer people have faces, YOU try drawing anything non-geometric in
the evil program they call "Microsoft Paint." Sue, you don't count.
Jupiter Crash
- I like this. Paint may be evil, but the airbrush sure has a nice
effect. Be sure to scroll down all the way.
Lol.com-
Snicker. This was a splash panel I made for Keithspants
a long, long time ago... it originally had two other places
it would take you to depending on where you clicked, but
those have long since disappeared... pity, too. I had a really great
picture of Lol getting run over with a truck.
Dancin' in the Dark
- Uh... I think this is another bit taken from a bigger, more awful
picture. Though apparently I'm on crack, because I don't think anyone is
strong enough to lift Robert. ; )
T-Shirts Gone Wrong
- The only decent drawing of Jason I've ever made, and he had to
have no face. I don't know what's going on with Perry.
The Exploding Boy-
*NEW* Mwahahahahahahah. Not techincally a drawing, but...
Idle hands are the devil's playground, and when you're in religion class they turn into Disneyland. I find the idea of fat, normally gloomy men romping around in a park too funny, hence these.
Oscar Wilde Goes for a Romp in the Park
- The first of the series, and of all three the most believable.
Robert Smith Goes for a Romp in the Park
- Having drawn one specifically for Armand, I decide that Oscar needs a friend of my tastes.
Paige Haley Goes for a Romp in the Park
- Just because.
So there you have it! Cure cartoons! There will be many, many more forthcoming, and a comic book (currently in the works, though I think you've had your fill of "sneak peeks") too, if I ever get on my lazy ass and start drawing.
