PG- Fff. I really can't think of a good example of PG fanfiction. Maybe if the characters kiss once or something... though in my opinion, one kiss is preeeeeeeetty wild. Whoo! How do I live with myself?

PG-13- This is what half of my stories are rated. Kissing that's a little on the forceful side, a little smattering of violence, and some language to top it all off, and voila`!! We have what censors consider to be 'shocking' for children under 13. I assure you, however, that I am working my DAMNDEST to make sure that that already thin margin of taboo gets eradicated as quickly as possible. Ade Inc.- destroying innocence out of bitterness.

R- Oh baby, that's what I like! R is my personal favorite rating for fanfics. No sex, but lots of drugs and rock and roll (heh). Also, violence, making out, 'mature themes', and dialogue that would make the women of Sex and the City blush. Curiously enough, I've also found that stories with R ratings tend to contain the highest percentage of angst out there. Go figure.

NC-17- Last but CERTAINLY not least, we come to our old friend the pervert. And oh, let me tell you, folks. This is where it all gets good... Sex! Violence! More sex! Rapid consumption of alcohol and other drugs! Still more sex! Little bunnies getting blown to smithereens by barbarians who then proceed to eat them and wear their hides! And, just for variety, a little more sex! Oh, and also the stories you're not supposed to read if you're under 17. Cause we all know how terribly corruptive stories can be to the minds of 16 year olds. Anyway, I prefer to think of it as battling illiteracy among our nation's youth.

So there you have it... ratings. Rather pointless, really, except for the sex-fiends out there who just enjoy scrolling through lists of stories and reading only the NC's they come across. Bah, I say to thee. BAH.
