Robert, Simon, Perry, and Jason, were out camping. Roger had come along, but sadly taken ill and was off in the woods vomiting. It was midnight and, deprived of lager, the boys were in the mood for a bedtime story.
"Robert!" Simon whined, snuggling closer to his friend under a blanket as they sat around the campfire. "Tell us a story!" Robert smiled as Perry and Jason agreed that the singer should tell them a story.
"Okay, okay." He consented. "It's a scary story. And it's true. I call it, 'The harrowing tale of how Roger became evil'"
"YAY!" The others shouted and huddled close to hear.
"Once upon a time," Robert started. "There was a little boy named Michael, but everyone called him Matthew. He was a good, lovely, sweet little poof, with a good friend named Billy. Billy liked to dance ballet. Matthew took that to mean he was gay, and, since Matthew rather fancied Billy, he decided to make his move. However, Billy was not a poufe, and poor Matt's heart was broken.
"Billy left Matthew to pursue his dancing career. Matthew, sad and heartbroken, sniffed about and wondered if anyone would ever love him. It was very sad. He was such a nice boy.
"One night, while reading, he came across a word he'd never heard before. The word was rogering. Matthew thought about this word, and decided he'd rather like to roger Billy. He thought that maybe if his name were Roger then Billy would love him. Matthew was a little high that night.
"Anyways, just as Matthew was deciding his name would be Roger, an evil spirit in the room, who's name was also Roger, jumped into Matthew and grew a face out of the back of Matt's head. Matthew was forced to wear a turban to hide Roger's ugly, rat-like features.
"Matthew, driven mad by Roger, became an ugly drag queen. Little by little, Roger took over his body, until he was Roger. Then, still feeling dejected over the loss of Billy, he swore to roger everyone he could, forever."
Perry gasped. "That's horrifying!" He shrieked, clutching at Simon. Robert glared at him.
"Get your filthy paws off Simon!" He nearly yelled. Luckily, Jason was sad no one was paying attention to him, and he grabbed Perry and dragged him away from Simon.
"What if Roger ever got us?" Jason asked, face deathly pale.
"Oh, well then you'd be in trouble, because Roger instantly enslaves everyone he rogers. It's part of the curse." They all huddled close to the fire, suddenly afraid.
"Is everything about Roger evil?" Simon asked, shivering.
"I'm afraid so love." Robert replied.
"Even his pants?" Jason asked.
"Especially his pants!" Robert said. Suddenly there was a rustle in the bushes. The boys screamed and jumped into the tent to hide. The watched, horrified, as Roger and his evil denims stumbled out of the woods looking ghastly ill.
"Where are you guys?" He said, voice disgustingly charming. "I'm cold and I want someone to warm me up!"
Perry burst into tears. Jason clamped a hand over his friend's mouth, desperate to conceal their hiding spot. Robert shivered.
"Little piggies!" Roger squealed, moving about clumsily. Tears tracked a silent path down Perry's cheeks and Simon felt as if he would scream.
Robert surveyed the wreck that was his band. Something had to be done. Picking up a large stick, Robert emerged from the tent.
"Roger!" He yelled, and the beast whirled about. "Were you looking for me?" Sobs came from the tent, as all the friends were sure that Robert was done for. Roger giggled.
"Robert! You silly boy! Come give me a kiss!" Robert grimaced, dipping the stick into the fire, and then waving it at Roger, knowing that he feared light.
"Get back Roger! I've got fire!" Roger howled, turning on his heels and racing into the forest.
Slowly, the other boys poked there heads out of the tent, still afraid of Roger.
"Is.is he gone?" Jason whimpered. Robert nodded, out of breath from his ordeal with Roger. The others rushed out to congratulate him.
"My God! That was great!" Perry yelled.
"You've saved us from Roger!" Exclaimed a joyous Jason.
"You deserve quite a reward." Simon trailed off before capturing Robert's lips. The pair fell into the tent, zipping it up and forcing Perry and Jason to sleep outside, guarding against Roger's return. Thankfully, a deer ate him.
